Hunting &
Fishing
What we do best!
Big Creek Lodge & Outfitters
operates under a special use permit issued by and in cooperation
with the Payette National Forest. Our outfit also holds
exclusive Meat packing, Hunting and Fishing rights over a large
area of the Payette.
As members of the Idaho
Outfitters and Guides Association we are certified and licensed
(#13444). All state Game rules and regulations are
strictly adhered to.
The lodge offers Elk, Mule Deer,
Moose, Bear, Cougar, Rocky Mountain Goat, and Big Horn Sheep
hunts. Also fishing
expeditions, (some of the best fishing in the
county) Trail Rides.
Call or Email us for details.
We travel to base camp by way of
horseback and, from there either ride or hike into our hunting
areas with a sack lunch. The hunt is on! We hunt
from sun-up to sun-down, everyday at which time we return to
base camp for hearty meal prepared at our "Mess Tent". The
meals, cooks choice might consist of a Plump T-Bone or Fried
Chicken with all the trimmings and side-arms. Oh yeah,
Cookie (the cook) says he'll take suggestions.
Indeed, our guided Big Game
hunts in the fall are without peer and we are dedicated to
making each hunt a memorable event.
